Today’s Random Player From the Baseball Research Project I’m Doing that May or May Not Amount to Anything is Glenn Davis. From 1986 thru 1990 he averaged 29 homers per 162 games. In January of 1991 he was traded from the Astros to the Orioles for Steve Finley, Pete Harnish, and Curt Schilling. Apparently he left his power in Houston as injuries plagued him and he only managed 24 homers for the rest of his career, which ended in 1993.
