Today’s Random Player From The Baseball Project That May Or May Not Amount To Anything is Harvey Haddix. Not the most notable of careers, but two things stand out. First in 1959 he a no hitter for 12.2 innings, only to lose it in the 13th to the Milwaukee Braves. Second, the following year he was the winning pitcher in Game 7 of the World Series. That little fact is forgotten because Bill Mazeroski hit his Hall of Fame ticket to win that game.
